Invitations to join audiovisual projects began to arrive in the late 2010s, drawn by her skill as both storyteller and photographer. Although she co-produced an experimental documentary on Rio de Janeiro’s natural splendor and co-directed and executive-produced a widely acclaimed children’s animated short, Bia still sees herself as an apprentice in the cinematic arts and is now immersed in new film adventures focused on Brazil’s wildlife. In 2025, two of her children’s books were adapted into beautiful animated films, with Bia herself narrating the stories.
