In 1995, Bia founded the company Manati Produções Editoriais Ltda with designer Silvia Negreiros, which was closed down in 2017 by their own decision. Fulfilling its objective of fostering Brazilian scientific and cultural education, over its more than 21 years of activity, Manati has produced several award-winning publishing projects, public and critical successes, built a catalog of more than 60 titles and left its mark on the country's publishing market with the image of a company that has always been reputable, guided by humanist, sustainable and fair trade principles.
